Meet Calypso! This sweetheart was found in a yard, abandoned by her mother. She was so vocal and active that she couldn't stop jumping around once she was brought inside! She 1st came to us when she was nursing kittens. She was found as a stray. Her kittens were all adopted and now it's her turn! She's the kind of kitty who will greet you at the door. Our precious Buddy has been with us for a long time. This shy boy was found as a stray in Rockaway back in 2004. Rescued by some Nice Samaritans he found his way here. He occasionally likes to be petted, but most of the times prefers the company of his kitty friends.

Freckles was rescued by the FDNY from an elevator shaft. She was then rescued by Mayor's Alliance for NYC"s Animals before transferring to us. She is very playful, but also has a tendency to bite. She would not be nice with children and needs an experienced cat owner who would be willing to work with her.
